  • Strengthening S&T and Phelps Health Partnership: Chancellor Dehghani met with Dr. Casey Burton to discuss expanding collaborations between Missouri S&T and Phelps Health.
  • UM System Legislative Update: The campus government relations and communications teams reviewed legislative priorities, including a new degree bill.
  • Core Strategic Leadership Team Meeting: Focused on a budget scorecard, new trustee orientation, a June 2025 leadership retreat, and compliance guidance from the UM System.
  • Campus Art Tour: Chancellor Dehghani led a tour showcasing S&T’s art collection, including stops at the Library, McNutt Mineral Collection, and the Innovation Lab.
  • Joshua Bell Performance at the Remmers Special Artist/Lecturer Series: Acclaimed Grammy Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell, accompanied by pianist Peter Dugan, performed at Leach Theatre on Feb. 4. The event, part of the Remmers Series, was free and open to the public, drawing a large audience of students, faculty, and the Rolla community.
  • Distinguished Evening with Joshua Bell: The Chancellor and campus leaders hosted a reception, dinner, and private dessert meet-and-greet for Joshua Bell and university stakeholders, following his performance.
  • Miner Heart Week: Campus community members prepared Valentine’s Day cards for newly admitted students.
  • Provost Search Update: Leadership gathered to review progress on the provost search and discuss next steps with the search team.
  • UMKC Board of Curators Reception and Meeting: Missouri S&T’s semiconductor engineering program was officially approved by the Board of Curators.
  • Keeley Construction Introduction: Jill Warren met with Keeley Construction leadership to discuss collaboration opportunities.
  • Missouri 100 Meeting: Chancellor Dehghani, Lana Alagha, and Kwame Awuah-Offei presented on critical minerals to Missouri and UM System leadership.
